New educational institutions in Tamilnadu for 2012-13 | New Colleges in Tamilnadu for 2012-13 Admission
With the objective of reaching out students of small towns as well as
reduce the drop-out rate, TN Chief Minister proposed establishing
nearly 20 educational institutions in the state this year including
engineering colleges.It includes,
Engineering College - 2 (Thanjavur and Dharmapuri )
Polytechnic college - 7
Arts and Science colleges- 11
Making a
statement in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Jayalalithaa announced setting up
an engineering college each in the districts of Thanjavur and
Dharmapuri.
Besides, she announced seven polytechnic colleges and 11 constituent Arts and Science colleges in different parts of the state, holding that the efforts will pave way for students of smaller towns to have access to quality higher education, thus enabling them better career prospects.
