Know your PF(EPF) Status Online- Balance will send to you through SMS

For checking your Provident fund status, here after there is no need to wait for paper statement from government. It is made easy in few clicks. You can know your current EPF balance upto the date, now your accounts are updated as per the latest transaction of settlement/advance/transfer-in/transfer-out, if any , offices across India. The balance will sent to your mobile through SMS.
The very important thing is you should know your PF account number, otherwise get it from your Employer today itself and check the balance today itself in the below link :



Step by Step Procedure :-
  1. First you will see a page having title Member Balance Information from where you have to Select PF Office State as "TAMILNADU".
  2. Just after select Tamilnadu as state you will see the office names.
  3. If you know your EPF Office select the same from the list.
  4. On selection of office, the mandatory Region Code and Office Code will get populated automatically in the respective boxes.
  5. Enter the Establishment Code in the third box – which can be of maximum 7 digits.
  6. In case the Establishment Code has an extension / sub-code, enter the same in the forth box. It can be a digit or letter as the case may be and can be of maximum 3 characters in size. Leave this field blank, if there is no extension /sub-code to the Establishment Code.
  7. Enter your account number in the fifth box which can be of maximum 7 digits.
  8. You will be asked to enter your name and mobile number. The given mobile number will be recorded along with the PF Account Number.
  9. Then Agree for the services.
  10. Then submit for result.
  11. On successful submission of above information, the details will be sent through SMS to the given mobile number.

Anna University Chennai TANCET 2014 for MBA/ MCA/ M.E./ M.Tech/M.Arch./M.PIan. admissions 2014


Applications are invited for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2014 to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to MBA/ MCA/ M.E./ M.Tech/M.Arch. / M.PIan. Degree Programmes for the year 2014 – 2015 offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Centres of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-financing Colleges (Engmeenng, Arts & Science Colleges including stand-alone Institutions) in Tamilnadu.
Application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application. The candidates have to pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate m card format) as entrance test fee for any one of the programmes.
If a candidate desires to appear for more than one Programme, for every additional programme, he/she has to pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST)
Registration For The Entrance Test (TANCET) 2014
(1)          REGISTRATION IN PERSON: Hall Tickets will be issued to the candidates who come in person to the following Co-ordinating Centres with a copy of 10th Std mark sheet and 12th Std mark sheet (or 3 years Diploma Certificate) and cash or Demand Draft (A single Demand Draft is sufficient for one or more programme) for the required amount towards entrance test fee.

The filled- in downloaded application along with the required demand draft and photocopies of certificates should be sent so as to reach The Secretary, TANCET, Centre for Entrance Examinations, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025 on or before 20.02.2014, by 5.30 p.m. The hall tickets will be sent by post
