py to inform that M/s Infosys is kind enough to revise the Eligibility Criteria for the TNSLPP in All Zones. The revised criteria is as follows:
B.E – CGPA upto 6th semester7.50 & above (No round Off)

All other criteria remain same. Accordingly, the eligible students are instructed to register online through the weblink
communicated earlier on or before the due date mentioned below:

After the registration, the students will receive the Invitation mail from M/s Infosys. The

Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme - Infosys Limited, @ Coimbatore on 3rd & 4th January 2014

Anna University, Chennai is organizing “Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme”
(TNSLPP) 2013-14, for the Present Final Year (2014 Passing Out Students) studying in University
Colleges and Self Financing Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu, under Coimbatore Zone.
M/s Infosys Limited, has kindly agreed to participate in this Placement programme on 3rd & 4th
January 2014 for Coimbatore Zone. Centre for University Industry Collaboration (CUIC),
Anna University, Chennai is conducting this programme at Kathir College of Engineering, Wisdom
Tree, Avinashi Road, Neelambur, Coimbatore District – 641 062.

Final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) with CGPA 8.00
(no rounding off) and above (No Standing Arrears) from I Semester to Last Semester are eligible
to participate in this programme. It is mandatory that all the students should have secured an
average of 75.00% (no rounding off) and above marks consistently in 10th Std. and 12th Std. It is
requested that the Principal / Placement Officer of the College should verify the marks of the students and
certify their eligibility to attend the TNSLPP.
All the eligible candidates have to pay a one time Registration fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees
Seven hundred and fifty only) in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of “The Director, CUIC,
Anna University” payable at Chennai. They are also requested to do Online Registration on or
before 24.12.2013 through the link:

However, students who have already paid the Registration Fee for the academic year 2013-
2014 should bring their CUIC Placement Passport Book without fail.

(Annexure-I) along with the Consolidated Demand Draft to the CUIC Staff Members camped at
Kathir College of Engineering, Neelambur on 03.01.2014 at 7.30 a.m. at the time of Registration.

Terms and Conditions
1. As per the mandate of the Anna University, Chennai, students who are already placed in
any organisation through Campus Recruitment are not eligible to attend the TNSLPP.
2. As per the notification of visiting Organisations, the candidates who have already
appeared for On-Campus Recruitment of that particular Organisation are not eligible to
re-appear again in the TNSLPP.
3. All the eligible students taking part in the TNSLPP process for the first time have to
register by paying a one time Registration Fee of Rs.750/- in the form of Demand Draft
drawn in favour of “The Director, CUIC, Anna University” payable at Chennai.
4. Candidates should furnish the photograph duly attested by the Principal of their college.
(Annexure I)
5. Candidates should bring the attested Photo Copies of SSLC, HSLC, Diploma and Degree
semester mark sheets for verification along with 4 passport size photographs.
6. For attending the TNSLPP, the candidates should make their own arrangements, for all
the days.
7. Registration, Validation and Test will be conducted on Day one. The shortlisted
candidates will have the interview on Day one / two.
8. Those candidates selected through TNSLPP by the company should not attend the
subsequent Test / Interviews to be conducted by other companies, through TNSLPP.
9. Any irregularity / Mal practices / any form of recommendation will be treated, as
disqualification and Anna University, Chennai will take serious action against those
candidates.
10. The decision of the Director, CUIC, Anna University will be final in all matters.

My Idea My Business Plan

Young Indians Kongu Engineering College Students Net is organizing “My Idea My Business Plan” – a business competition to be held on 31st January2014 (Friday).

Objectives of the Event

  • To bring out the new enterprising business and social ideas from the participants having innovative ideas which are technically feasible, commercially viable and socially relevant.
  • To provide opportunity for the participants to bring out their entrepreneurial talents
  • To support the selected ideas through nurturing and guidance so that they can be shaped into business start-ups
  • To provide funding support for the fresh start-ups which have the potential to explore the market, grow and sustain for the benefit of the society

1. My Innovative Idea
  • Event Details – Innovative ideas having technical feasible ideas can be submitted in a single page write-up needs to be submitted. Format attached – Annexure – 1. Email: myideamybusiness@gmail.com
  • Who can participate – Graduate and postgraduate students of arts & science, engineering studies can register for the event
  • Team Size – Maximum two participants per team
  • Registration fees – Rs.150/- per person
2. My Business Plan
  • Event Details – Business plan needs to be innovative, technically feasible, commercial viable to start a venture and it is desirable if it has having social benefit. Selected business plan will be funded with a seed capital of Rs.2.5 lakh as interest free loan for three years and a soft loan upto Rs.50 lakh. A detailed business proposal needs to be emailed after registration. Format attached – Annexure – 2. Email: myideamybusiness@gmail.com
  • Who can participate – Any person within India can register for the event
  • Team Size – Maximum four participants per team
  • Registration fees – For Students Rs.150/- per person
  • For Non-Students Rs.250/- per person
3. My Idea for a Social Change
