Engineering Guindy, Alagappa College ofTechnology and Madras Institute of 
Technology campuses for the year 2013 - 14.














The candidates can register through internet by logging on to 
www.annauniv.edu/ptbe2013. The procedurefor registration is 
available in Anna University website.The candidates should 
furnish all the required detailswhile filling up the online application
 form. The candidate shall take the print out of the filled-in 
applicationsand submit to “TheDirector, Centre for Admissions, 
Anna University, Chennai – 25”with requiredenclosures and a 
Demand Draft for`600/- for General category (300/- for 
SC/SCA/ST candidates belongingto Tamil Nadu) in person
 or by post.
The Demand Draft Should be drawn in favour of “Director (Admissions),
Anna University”payable atChennai obtained from any nationalised bank
on or after 10.11.2013.

“Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme” (TNSLPP) 2013-14 for Coimbatore Zone - CTS

Anna University, Chennai is organizing “Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme” (TNSLPP) 2013-14, for the Present Final Year (2014 Passing Out Students) studying in Self Financing Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu, under Coimbatore Zone.  

 M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions, has kindly agreed to participate in this Placement programme during 8th , 9th  & 10th  November 2013 for Coimbatore Zone (08.11.2013 & 09.11.2013 for the Colleges under SI. No. 1 to 70 and 09.11.2013 & 10.11.2013 for the Colleges under SI. No. 71 to 145 – Please see Annexure-IV).  Centre for University Industry Collaboration (CUIC), Anna University, Chennai is  conducting this programme at Mahendra Engineering College, Mahendhirapuri, Mallasamudram, Vadugapalayam, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District – 637 503.

Final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) and PG (MCA) with CGPA 7.50 (no rounding off) and above (No Standing Arrears) from I Semester to last Semester are eligible to participate in this programme.  It is mandatory that all the students should have secured an average of 75.00% (no rounding off) and above marks consistently from 10  onwards. 
All the eligible candidates have to pay a one time Registration fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only) in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of “The Director, CUIC, Anna University” payable at Chennai.  The Principal / Placement Officers may collect the Registration Fee from the students and make One Consolidated Demand Draft and submit the hard copy of the registration form (Annexure-I) along with the Consolidated Demand Draft to the CUIC Staff Members camped at Mahendra Engineering College, Mallasamudram on the first day at 7.30 a.m.  (08.11.2013 for the Colleges under SI. No. 1 to 70 and 09.11.2013 for the Colleges under SI. No.71 to 145 – Please see Annexure-IV) at the time of Registration.

Job Role & Description:

The students who get shortlisted will be offered the role of Programmer Analyst Trainee with a salary of 3 lakh / annum. They will be trained at Cognizant Academy for a period of 4 months post which they will join the project teams.

  • 2014 passing out candidates only 
  • B.E/B. Tech (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) & PG (MCA)
  • Minimum 75.00% from 10th  onwards
  • CGPA of 7.50 and above
  • No standing arrears allowed at the time of recruitment process
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Flexibility to work in Shifts and in any Cognizant Location
  • Open only to Indian Nationals

Compensation Package: Rs. 3.0 Lakhs per annum
