Before planning to reduce the usage of current in our home, lets see the consumption of current by electric components for one hour in a day.

Induction stove : 2 units
Rice cooker : 1.5 units
Micro Oven : 1 units
Motor : 0.75 units
A.C : 0.75 units
Washing Machine : 0.05 units

Fan : 0.04 units
Fridge : 0.04 units
Mixe : 0.04 units
Radio : 0.04 units
VCR : 0.04 units

Fat bulb : 0.04 units
CFL bulbs: 0.005 units

Television : 0.075 units

Computer : 0.075 units
Iron box : 0.075 units

Grinder : 0.005 units


 In order to get better benefit we can use alternative product for high consumption of current. The best replacement will be, the normal bulb with CFL bulbs. Nearly 10 % we can save the current and money. Need to double check for switching OFF heater, fan, Light etc., after it usages.
